I’m a labor economist, but the sorts of questions that interest me touch a number of fields. My research explores the dynamic interplay of local industrial composition, labor market conditions, housing prices, migration and other demographic changes, and government intervention (such as regulation, taxation, and social assistance programs).
Away from my desk and the classroom, you might find me back-country camping or hiking.
